I've been an acting teacher/audition coach for fifteen years and am the author of the book, Conquering the Film and Television Audition, 2016 Reanimus Press. In addition to teaching, I've been a professional actor since the age of seven, and my credits run from series regular to one-liners. I've been in every type of audition room on every type of project and role, both as an actor and a casting director. I don't believe in wasting students' time and will zero in on what is working for you and what needs re-focusing quickly. My goal is to bring out the uniqueness in every actor and let that uniqueness shine without negating or disregarding the script.

I strongly recommend my book, Conquering the Film and Television Audition, as it is a complete and comprehensive guide to film and television auditioning for all genres and sizes of roles. I like to work with actors on a personal level, meaning I tailor each and every session to the particular actor and what his or her specific and particular needs are. I'll let you know what is working, and what is not, and why it isn't working. I will help you find a way to turn what doesn't work into something that does, without losing any of your true self. I don't string actors along with excessive praise, but give honest answers and straightforward instruction as to how to give the best and most honest performance, whether it be an audition or working on a role.
