Teaching Style

Kevin is primarily trained in playing classical music and has played an extensive amount of orchestral music. However, Kevin has experience playing jazz and some experience playing religous worship music (Hillsong style music).

In lessons, Kevin emphasizes bringing music on the page (or tablet) to life! Kevin emphasizes learning skills that produce mastery of the bassoon for each student which can be applied to any skill in life, such as academics, sports, or even learning a lanuage.

Kevin offers 15 minute free trial lessons. Click "Book a Lesson" to schedule one.

Curriculum

Kevin generally teaches using the New Weissenborn Method for Bassoon and other etude books, such as Milde Etudes.  However, this can vary as he tries to cater to the specific needs of each student.
