Hii, there ! I'm a Guitar Player and Guitar Teacher from Kolkata, India. I have been playing guitar professionally since 14 years and teaching guitar professionally since 7 years.
I teach online and offline, and also working as a Guitar teacher/faculty in an Institute in my city.
I have my Guitar playing experience of 14 years and Guitar teaching experience of 7 years.
With my Fusion band Bolepur Bluez I have performed over more than 500 shows in India in last ten years. Performed in big and reputed Colleges/Universities, Corporate Events and biggest music festivals like NH7 Weekender. Along with these have also performed for 'All India Radio' and Television Channels.
My band's official music video 'Hrid Majhaare' (Indian Folk Song) was officially released on the MTV channel.
My style of playing is more of Country Blues and Blues Rock.
I'm also a Dire Straits/Mark Knoplfer tribute guitarist and had a Dire Straits tribute band and did few shows.
As Freelance Guitar Player I have worked for a show on the Discovery Channel and, a 'Light and Sound' show for the Indian Government.
I passed out from a school named 'Kalyani Central Model' (CBSE Board).
I'm completed my graduation from a college named 'Sikkim Manipal University'. I studied Mass Communication and Journalism.
My teaching method includes theory and practical. Theory includes Tablatures, explaining Rhythm and Melody from the core. Explaining every type of Chords and Scales in detail. Along with these I teach Ear Training as it plays a major part in learning music.
Practical includes playing and showing during the teaching session.
