Kyle Forester
About
Kyle Forester is a New York-based musician, member of the bands Crystal Stilts and The Ladybug Transistor, and has taught guitar and keyboards for over fifteen years. He is a touring member of the band Woods and has released two solo albums, a self-titled debut in 2016 and the follow-up Hearts in Gardens in 2020. He composed the score for the film Breaking Upwards and short films including Horsefingers 3, and has performed and recording with various other artists, including Purple Mountains, Air Waves, Tall Juan, Pale Lights, Gary Olson, and The Natvral.
Happy to work with people of any age and at any level, with very specific musical goals or none at all. Can teach from a music theory basis or completely by ear. Specialist in people who "don't have time to practice."

Kyle is a wonderful and passionate teacher with a style that is very easy to understand. I've managed to get to grips with all the new things he's taught me in next to know time and I'm looking forward to learning more with him.

Good for beginners to learn about chords and chord progressions, chords in a scale. I appreciated how patient Kyle was for our young audience, and was answering his questions so he didn't feel excluded. That was awesome, Kyle!
