K-POP Vocal Coah | University Lecturer ( 14+ yrs) | Audition Specialist 

With over 14 years of experience teaching Applied Music at universities and graduate programs in South Korea, I specialize in K-pop vocal training, pop / jazz vocal technique, and pop vocal improvisation. 

I work with students ranging from beginners to professional-level singers, including those preparing for K-pop auditions or pursuing careers in the music industry.  

As an active singer-songwriter, lyricist, and vocalist working across K-pop, pop, jazz, rock and indie music, I help students develop not only technical skills, but also their unique artistic identity.

I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Jazz Vocal Performance from City College of New York and a Master of Music (M.M.) in Jazz Voice from New Jersey City University in the United States.

In my lessons, I focus on helping you build practical, real-world singing skills, including:

• Intensive training on pitch precision

• Expanding your vocal range (especially high notes)

• Improving rhythmic accuracy and groove

• Developing your unique vocal tone and artistic identity 

• Mastering Korean pronunciation and K-pop phrasing

• Targeted preparation for K-pop auditions
