I have been a singing teacher for 6 years and have taught hundreds of students, giving individuals and group classes. Also I have made workshops about interpretation, riffs & runs, and masterclasses about vocal technique.
and I teach techniques that are used in different musical genres, such as Brazilian music, American pop music, folk music and others.
Besides being a teacher, I am a singer and composer of Brazilian popular music. So, if you are looking to delve deeper into Brazilian music, I can help you a lot in understanding its history and characteristics.
Teaching Style
During each class, I will explain the exercises I chose to teach you, so that you can understand the technique while practicing. And I always give algo a big atention for the repertoire, so that we can apply what was learned in the exercises to the songs.
Curriculum
In the first part of each class, we will do exercises according to the needs of your voice having as its axis the 3 pillars of our voice: breathing, phonation (action of the vocal cords) and resonance. So, for this, I will evaluate your voice. In the second part of the class, we will work on the repertoire that makes sense to you.
Other factors such as interpretation and artistic identity will naturally permeate the classes.
