Leyla Turkmen
About
🫡Hello and welcome! 🥳My name is Leyla, and I’m passionate about languages, education, and creativity.💯 I first studied Theology, then graduated in Turkish Literature, and along the way, I developed a deep interest in psychology and child development. With over ten years of experience in teaching Turkish, I’ve helped students from different backgrounds master the language.🇹🇷
But my passions don’t stop there! I love sewing, crafting, cooking, and experimenting with new cuisines. Staying active and making time for fitness is also an important part of my life. As a lifelong learner—I’m currently learning my seventh language—I understand the challenges of language learning, and I’m here to make your journey smoother and more enjoyable. Let’s start this adventure together!✔️
Teaching Style
I have been teaching Turkish online for over ten years, helping students from diverse backgrounds learn and master the language. Throughout my journey, I have worked on five to six different teaching platforms, gaining valuable experience in online education. I have designed and conducted over a hundred one-on-one and group courses, tailoring lessons to different learning styles and needs.
With more than 500 students and over 4,000 teaching hours, I have developed effective methods to make language learning engaging and accessible. My approach is interactive and student-centered, focusing on communication and real-life usage. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner, I am here to guide you on your Turkish language journey!
I have extensive experience working with children, creating engaging and interactive lessons that make learning Turkish fun and effective for young learners. I tailor my teaching methods to their age and learning style, using visual aids, stories, and games to keep them motivated.
In addition to one-on-one lessons, I have also conducted group classes, helping students learn collaboratively. Group lessons provide a dynamic environment where learners can practice speaking, interact with peers, and gain confidence in using the language. Whether teaching children or adults, my goal is always to create a supportive and enjoyable learning experience!
