About

Lihi Haruvi is an accomplished saxophonist, performing worldwide and serving as faculty at Berklee College of Music teaching Harmony and Performance Classes, while coaching BGJI Ensembles. She also serves as faculty at New England Conservatory Prep. Program teaching private lessons and ensembles. 

Lihi performed on renowned stages such Newport Jazz Festival, Cork Guiness Jazz Festival, DR Jazz Festival, Panama Jazz Festivals, Monterey Jazz Festival, Regattabar, Jordan Hall, and performed with multi-platinum artist David Broza, Hall of Fame drummer Max Weinberg, UNESCO Artist for Peace and Grammy Winner Danilo Perez, among many others.

She had the opportunity to study with jazz Legends such as Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, John Patitucci, Terry Lyne Carrington, Dave Liebman, George Garzone to name a few. She holds a Bachelor Dual Degree from Berklee College of Music in Performance & Film Scoring, and a Master of Music Degree from New England Conservatory in Jazz Performance.

As an educator Lihi believes that music has great importance in every aspect of life and the potential to make it better. Through the practice of music, we are able to elevate our lives and spirit. In the lessons we will cover the fundamentals of music, harmony, melody, rhythm, sound, and continue to overall musicianship exercises to support student's growth, either in saxophone or any instrument.

Lesson materials are varied and depend on the student level and musical interest.
