Hello! My name is Lindsay. I'm not just your average drum instructor; I'm your coach and cheerleader! What sets me apart as a great drum coach is my passion for music and my dedication to helping you become the best drummer you can be!

I'd love to help you reach your full drumming potential. I offer engaging drum lessons that will give you proper skills and technique while also having fun. We do this by learning and then applying drumming techniques to real music you enjoy playing. I have experience teaching complete beginners through professional drummers, ages children through adults.

B.A, Berklee College of Music, May 2016

With over two decades of drumming experience, I've honed my skills and coaching techniques to ensure you receive top-quality instruction. I've been through it all, from performing in live bands, recording in studios, to earning my B.A from Berklee College of Music. And I'm ready to share my diverse expertise with you.

Every drum session is customized and tailored specifically to your goals. One size does not fit all in drumming. I understand that every student has unique goals and learning styles. That's why I craft each lesson to suit your individual needs, whether you're a beginner eager to start or an advanced player looking to refine your approach. I've gotten students up and running on the drums from age 6 all the way to age 75.

Beginner drummers start with learning things like basic drum set technique, rudiments, rhythms, music notation reading and writing, beats, grooves, fills and songs. Intermediate and advanced drummers might be interested in expanding their vocabulary, applying rudiments to the drum set, increasing creativity, strengthening their weak hand, bass drum foot technique, and optimizing practice time for the fastest and most effective results, for example.

I offer a well-rounded curriculum covering everything from basic rhythms and techniques to advanced drumming concepts. You'll develop a strong foundation and progress at your own pace. I don't believe in just showing you how to play 7,359 grooves and 3,411 fills. Unleash your creativity! I'll give you the tools and concepts you need to create your own drum parts and read any drum notation for a lifetime. :)

I also believe that learning to play the drums should be fun! I infuse positivity, enthusiasm and energy into every lesson, making sure you stay motivated and excited about your musical journey!

If you're interested in performing, I can help you prepare for live shows or studio recording sessions. We'll work on building confidence and stage presence, ensuring you're ready to shine when it's your time to shine.

Becoming a great drummer can be challenging, but I'm here to support and encourage you every step of the way. I'm not just your teacher; I'm your coach and biggest cheerleader.

Whether you're aiming to master rock, jazz, funk, or any other style, I'm here to guide you on your drumming adventure. Let's create music together, one beat at a time. I'll help you break down your drumming dreams into small digestible chunks. With my guidance and feedback you can finally unlock your full drumming potential!

Ready to get started then? Reach out and book your first lesson today. Let's drum up some rhythm and have fun doing it!
