About

 Ms. Aylor has been a section Violinist and Violist with the Pensacola Symphony, Pensacola Opera, Panama City Pops, and Sinfonia Gulf Coast.  She was a founding member and Concertmaster of the Okaloosa Symphony Orchestra and Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra.   
Ms. Aylor retired after 35 years of teaching music and strings in the Okaloosa County School District in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  During the last 20 years, I had the privilege of being the Music Director of two Youth Orchestras located in the Panhandle of Northwest Florida.  

Ms. Aylor is currently Music Director of the Emerald Coast Symphonic Pops, an Adult Community Orchestra.

 

Ms. Aylor has years of experience teaching private and class strings, chamber music and orchestral music to groups of students of all ages-  4 yrs to Adults.   She has attended several string specialty workshops including: the International String Workshop in Salzburg, Austria and the Ohio State University School of Music Teacher Workshop.  She became involved in working with electric string instruments after attending the Mark Wood Rock Orchestra Camp in Olathe, Kansas.  She then formed a youth group called "High Voltage" ensemble comprised of High School musicians on electric stringed instruments accompanied by guitar, bass and drums.

Ms. Aylor has been teaching privately for years, and since the onset of the Coronavirus, has been using ZOOM to continue working online with her students.  "Online teaching has made it possible to continue with my passion of working with wonderful talented students of all ages and walks of life from all over!"

Liz Aylor holds a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Heidelberg University and a Master of Arts Degree from Case Western University. Member of Suzuki Association of the America’s Registered Training with Core Units: Every Child Can Violin Unit 1 Violin Unit 2
