About

Coming back from a singing break and feeling rusty? Welcome :)

I’m Lori. I’ve been teaching voice for 15+ years and work with singers at every level, from just starting to professionals preparing for auditions.

Many adults worry they’re rusty or that their voice isn’t what it used to be. I understand that feeling, and my goal is to create space for you to build your voice with encouragement and zero pressure.

Returning to singing can feel vulnerable. If you’re someone who used to sing and is thinking about coming back to lessons, you’re exactly the kind of student I love working with.

In lessons we focus on practical tools that help your voice improve. Breath, rhythm, tone, flexibility, and confidence. Everything is tailored to your goals and the music you enjoy singing.

I’ve performed across the U.S. and Europe, including singing at the Vatican for Pope Francis, and trained with artists like Kristin Chenoweth and Nathan & Julie Gunn. But what matters most in lessons is helping your voice grow in a way that feels natural and expressive.

When you’re ready, book a trial lesson and let’s make music again. 🎶

Teaching Style

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of studying with renowned artists and teachers, including Cynthia Haymon, Kristin Chenoweth, and Nathan and Julie Gunn.

Their influence shaped not only my technique but also my teaching philosophy: every singer’s voice is unique and deserves individualized guidance.

Curriculum

If you’ve taken a break from singing, you don’t need to start over. You need the right way back in.

My approach blends classical training with modern, practical tools designed specifically for singers who feel rusty, out of practice, or unsure where to begin again.

Instead of overwhelming you with technique, we rebuild your voice step by step starting with what gives you the fastest wins: breath support, tone, and control. From there, we gently reconnect your range, flexibility, and confidence so your voice starts to feel like yours again.

Every lesson is tailored to your goal. That might be getting comfortable singing again, improving consistency, or working back toward performance level without pressure.

I’m especially passionate about working with singers who feel hesitant or self-conscious coming back. I know that vulnerable moment, and I create a space where you can ease in, rebuild trust with your voice, and actually enjoy singing again.

With over 15 years of teaching and performance experience across musical theatre, opera, choral, and studio work, I focus on making technique clear, simple, and immediately usable.

I’ve helped singers achieve high-level results, including award-winning students and top placements in competitive programs, all through supportive and structured training, including fully online lessons.

Because when done right, online lessons don’t hold you back. They often help you progress faster, with more consistency and confidence.
