I believe each individual students learns and experiences things differently, and that is where my teaching style is derived from. I work to tailor the goals and lesson structure of each student around what they are wanting to learn and accomplish. I believe trumpet playing can be broken down into 4 basic pillars from which all advanced skills are learned from. Those are tone, flexibility, technique, and articulation. Working with the student, we can develop a plan to fit those 4 basic pillars of trumpet playing into the goals those students are trying to attain.
