About

I graduated from Berklee College of Music as a pianist with a major in Contemporary Writing and Production and specialized in Music Production at UCLA. I have either played with or produced countless artists from all over the world and have been teaching privately since 2014, when I attended the Souza Lima Jazz conservatory in Brazil. I also play the Hammond organ and a number of synthesizers.

Music is my passion and nothing makes me happier than teaching what I love. Every lesson is designed for the need of each specific student, and I strive to make lessons informative and entertaining. I usually teach children/beginners but all ages/experience levels are welcome. I have experience teaching through online platforms and my setup is design to offer the best to every student.

Aside from teaching, I'm an active musician in the Los Angeles scene. I have worked with many artists (MARO, Jota Quest, Skunk Oil, Leticia Filizzola, Mirella Costa, Jerry Barnes, Nina Joory) in many cities around the world (Toronto, Sao Paulo, Los Angeles, Boston, New York, London), as well as leading my own solo project. When not performing in LA, I'm traveling to perform elsewhere in the world, but my lessons never stop because I have a mobile setup. Having a teacher that is an active professional in the music industry is crucial for students who want to learn about music from an unique perspective. Along with my band Skunk Oil,  my solo project and as a sideman for other musicians, I have headlined a number of shows in California (The Mint, Ivar Theater) and in the East Coast area (PA's Lounge, The Midway, Berklee Performance Center, Oliver Colvin Hall, Berk Hall, The Rising), as well as in Latin America (Casa do Mancha, Zé Presidente, Tonton).  Studios I have recorded at include the legendary Abbey Road in London, Avatar (now Power Station), Futura, Clear Lake, Dimension Sound, The Record Company, New Alliance.

The books I normally use are Hanon, Leila Fletcher, A Dozen a Day and the Real Book, but I create personalized content for every student (piano arrangements and PDF material).
