Luis Tord

My name is Luis. I'm a Peruvian Civil Engineer. I have been a school and college tutor since 2009. I have worked on construction companies and at present working in one of the biggest in Perú making construction budgets . I have been teacher assistant for subjects such as topography, road engineering and structures in Pontificia Universidad Católica in Perú .  I started studying Psychology and then change my studies to Civil Engineer which ended in 2017.

I teach students in subjects related to math and physics. I am bilingual (english and spanish) and I have experience teaching kids, teenagers and adults. I highly recommend a 15 minutes free trial to start and to meet first.

During my time studying Psychology, I took intereset on analyzing the way humans learn and selected several methods to apply on teaching.  After many years teaching, I think it is important to lose fear to math and physics subjects in order to understand them. I consider that students must understand the theory involved on the topic and then do practice in the company of a tutor so, later, they can do practice by their own.  Thanks to my professionals and personals experiences I feel I can help my students to explore math and physics, develop their confidence and apply the studies to their daily life.
