I have over ten years of teaching experience, and enjoy teaching students of all ages and levels. I have had the privilege of teaching absolute beginners, students preparing for university/college auditions, and everyone in between.
I take an individualized approach to my teaching, tailoring material, area of focus, and instruction to each student's needs and interests. However, I do believe that certain fundamentals are important for everyone to establish and maintain, and as such, I like to help my students find a practise routine that targets their unique needs to help them reach their performance goals.
My favourite moments in teaching are when an idea clicks with a student and it sparks their curiosity and excitement to keep going. And when they say, "This is fun!" I agree! :)
