I believe that a teacher is required to expect the most of their students by creating an environment that fosters growth through discipline, perseverance, and hard work. Each student is different, and catering to these individual needs so a student has the opportunity to learn is of paramount import.

Teaching is a process that requires a back and forth between individuals who are dedicated to the materials at hand. My philosophy centers around explanations that complement this back and forth and lead to a greater understanding of the concepts at hand. As I proactively learn the different methods required to explain different ideas, both the student and the teacher benefit positively from this back and forth. My goal is to foster this environment as efficiently as I possibly can.

I have studied classical piano performance and music composition at Eastman School of Music, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and Lynn University. I currently hold a degree in music composition from Lynn University.
