Lydi Naicker

Hi! I'm Lydi, and I help 8th-12th graders getting C or D grades for algebra and calculus to understand their coursework better, so that it increases their chances of getting a much better grade (which brings their entire GPA up). I want to help you feel heard and supported.

I'm an introverted artist who's also good at math (and loves teaching it!). Together with my A-symbols for math in school and university, my Chemistry degree, and my love for art, you're in a safe space. I'll transform those difficult, abstract concepts into easy, everyday explanations, so it gives you hope that you can crack the code of these confusing problems on your own. I've tutored students of various ages intermittently over the course of 16 years, and I would love the honour of working with you.

I love Metallica, classic Tomb Raider, dogs, and a good cup of tea. I work internationally from my digital workspace in Johannesburg.

I'm here to tell you - there is a way to break down even the most difficult concept into a simple, bite-sized piece that's easy to chew. We'll use creative, fun and useful-in-everyday-life ways to learn boring and difficult material that get you exam-ready. You can also ask me any question about topics that have stumped you, and I'll break them down in as simple of a way as possible, so you feel comfortable with what you know about those topics.
