Maggie Garblinsa
About
Educated in Europe and in the United States, violinist Maggie made her New York Orchestral debut at DiMenna Center for the Performing Arts, as a soloist for the New York Classical Guitar Society concert series. The performance featured J. S. Bach’s Violin Concerti, with guitar orchestra taking the role of the harpsichord.
Competing on her home turf in New York City, Maggie won Best Technique Award at the Forte International Competition held at Carnegie Hall in 2016.
Her other noteworthy engagements include regular appearances at the Summer Music Festival at Western Michigan University, where she has performed concertos with orchestra in addition to being featured in recitals of violin solo and chamber music works since 2014.
Teaching Style
Maggie also received the Arthur Balsam Award in recognition of her contributions as a chamber musician. After completing her elementary education in Gdansk, Maggie went on to study in Warsaw and in the United States.
