Teaching as a profession is rewarding when one sees the student's potential come forward. It is a give and take process. The students are the critics of a teaching method whether the latter should be dropped or carried on. When planning a lesson, I do not rely uniquely in a textbook, but rather I add more material that can help the student reinforce the memorization of the new vocabulary. Also, it helps my students to familiarize themselves with the history, location, and current events of the country, as well as to expand their knowledge of the French culture. Most importantly extra games and activities incite and encourage the students to communicate in French.

Language learning has evolved time after time in order to please the needs and preferences of the students. It is not only bordered inside a traditional classroom. The expansion of networking and communication methods has created the need for teachers to transform their thinking and learning . Online teaching itself has created the opportunity for the student and the teacher for a one on one learning process. Using a teaching style that demonstrates a continuous progress comes with the responsibility for me as a teacher to know the motive why this particular student wants to learn a new language. Is it for business, traveling, or simply for fun. I consider also the age and level of the student in planning a lesson. Taking all in consideration the use of communicative and cultural approaches as well as grammar made easy through examples and practice. Although, as the style and methods change my objective remains always the same: My student's ability to use and put to work what he learned continuously.
