My name is Marco Asturias Lopez. I am a native Spanish speaker from Guatemala. I live in Parramos Village which is located 25 minutes away from Antigua, Guatemala, where I regularly work with students from all around the world teaching Spanish.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching Spanish. I have good teaching skills and it is a pleasure for me to put them at the service of students who require it. When I teach Spanish to a new student, I always monitor their development in learning the language. I am passionate about nature and culture, so I try to put tasks related to the interests of students between classes, which I think makes everyone enjoy the lesson very much.
Credentials & Affiliations
I teach Spanish at PLFM Spanish school located in Antigua, Guatemala. I have a diploma in Specialization in Teaching Spanish Language as L2 from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala (The only public University in Guatemala). I am Certified by the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC) and the Guatemalan Tourism Institute (INGUAT) which makes me a teacher with the ability to teach at all levels; My 30-year experience places me for group work or the one-on-one system.
