About
I am a prize-winning composer and music educator. I am licensed by the Royal Academy of Music in London, and have over 30-years experience teaching in the UK, Europe, Russia (St Petersburg and Novosibirsk) and Thailand. These days, I spend most time mentoring students from the major International schools, such as St Andrews, Rugby and Regents.
I find that most of my time these days is taken up coaching students towards ABRSM instrumental and theory exams. I have an excellent track record and no student has yet failed an exam! For students to take instrumental exams above Grade 5, they are required to pass Grade 5 Theory of Music - I also prepare them for that too. Further to that, I have been involved in preparing students to take part in piano competitions, one of whom reached the final.
