I am a native Italian speaker with a big passion for languages, which brought me to specialize in Linguistic, Literature, and Culture.

Already during my university studies, I tutored young adults and students English and German as a hobby, but it was just two years ago that I started teaching professionally Italian in a language preschool for kids in Melbourne. Together with that I kept privately tutoring  Italian for business, school, and travel.

I have a University degree in English and German language and culture. I also lived for over five years in Australia and two in Germany.  I am also TESOL certified (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages). This course, in particular, gave me a really new perspective in terms of teaching, making me face new learning perspectives and challenges.

I strongly believe listening is a core part of a language learning process. While hearing you do not simply memorize new words, but you also understand in which context and in which way they are used.  It is definitely a faster and more effective way of learning. That's why I prefer teaching through chats and talks rather than through books and set phrases.

But of courses, ultimately it is students who set the rules according to their needs, level, learning speed and skills. Therefore I like offering an initial free trial lesson to adapt my methods to put the learner in the best condition for him/her to make the most out of our time together.
