About

My name is Marina. I have a great passion for music. I started playing piano when I was 4 years old. Over the years I also learned to play the keyboard and piano accordion. Whether you are starting to learn the first chord, further your knowledge, prepare for exams, I am fit to guide you on your musical career. I prove myself to be a very patient, encouraging and fun loving teacher who has been teaching music privately for over 40 years. Therefore, my music teaching is generated more by word of mouth than advertising. I have catered for ages from three to sixty four. Therefore, age has no barrier.

For adults it is a great way to unwind after a stressful day because music is a good therapy. I love to teach music and have been sharing my passion with all ages and all skill levels.I treat every student as a unique individual. It is of the greatest satisfaction to see my students become better musicians.  I have earned my qualifications from Trinity College London and The Associated Board of the Royal School of Music.

I have had successful experiences with various challenges and cannot wait to work with you.

I teach remotely primarily with zoom. I am open to other arrangements like Skype if you wish. I can reach anyone in the world who wants to learn music and they can enjoy the benefit of learning from the comfort of their own home. My teaching is tailor made and it is one on one.

Theory of music is an important element of music. You can learn how to read and write music, understand different types of scales and learn everything that you need to know about theory of music to enhance your playing.

Why do you want to take music lessons? What is your ultimate goal? Do you want to take Trinity College or A B R S M exams?

We can try to find the answers and take it from there to achieve your specific goals. I have helped many students who were close to quitting music and have given them  the confidence and positivity to reach their ambition. In order to do this, I get to know the student personally and discuss their goals.

Overall I like to make my teaching fun and exciting, not to make it boring. Therefore it is interactive. My lessons are once a week. This way I can see a student’s progress with practice throughout the week. This also helps me to identify the areas they need help with. I do understand each person learns at their own pace, and I am happy to work with students at whatever speed works for each one of them.

Cancellation policy

My cancellation policy is 24 hours except emergencies. I will notify the student if an emergency arises from my end.

In the event of a young child, parents have to be a part of setting up to ensure great results with their lessons.

I would like to share my passion of music to bring joy and happiness to every student.

In 2007 I set up Musik Creation with 15 students Initially the main focus was piano and keyboard. The business took off at a fast pace and in a short time I had five teachers assisting me.
In 2008 I introduced guitar and it was very successful. During Christmas in the same year, we had a concert which enabled us to enrol more children.
In 2015 due to relocating, Little Musicians was opened and because there were so many enrolments, it soon became a success. Children took part performing in a charity event ,which they really enjoyed
In 2016, I performed every Friday in the community dementia society. I played the piano and helped them with vocals.
I continue to study to further my knowledge and to research music education to find new methods, so that I can give my students the best experience that I can.
