About

I am a professional violinist, educator, and music manager with over 10 years of international teaching and performance experience. I hold a Specialist Diploma in Violin Performance and Pedagogy from the Prague Conservatoire and a Master’s degree from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.

Throughout my career, I have performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra, and I have worked as a deputy concertmaster and orchestral musician. Alongside my performance career, I have been deeply involved in music education, teaching students of all ages and levels - from complete beginners to advanced players preparing for professional pathways.

I specialize in preparing students for ABRSM and Trinity exams (Initial to Grade 8 and beyond), and I have successfully guided many students through their musical journeys with excellent results.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is structured, supportive, and results-oriented, while still being flexible and adapted to each student.

I focus on three main pillars:

- Strong technical foundation – posture, bow technique, intonation, and sound quality

- Musicality and expression – helping students play with emotion, phrasing, and confidence

- Consistency and motivation – building discipline while keeping lessons enjoyable and inspiring

I am very attentive to detail, but always in a positive and encouraging way. I believe progress comes from a balance of clear guidance, patience, and motivation.

For exam students, I provide a clear roadmap and structured preparation. For hobby players, I ensure lessons remain enjoyable while still improving technique and musical understanding.

Curriculum

My teaching method is carefully adapted to each student’s level and goals. I focus on building a strong technical foundation while developing musical expression and confidence.

In lessons, I combine technical work with repertoire to ensure balanced progress. Students work on scales, arpeggios, and, at more advanced levels, double stops and more complex technical elements. I also incorporate etudes from well-established schools such as Wohlfahrt, Kayser, Mazas, Kreutzer, Charles Dancla, and others, depending on the student’s level.

Alongside technical development, I introduce a wide range of repertoire. This includes student concertos such as Ferdinand Küchler / Oskar Rieding / Friedrich Seitz, as well as works by composers like Antonio Vivaldi. Students also explore shorter character and romantic pieces by composers such as Antonín Dvořák or Zdeněk Fibich, including works like Sonatina in G major and other expressive repertoire suitable for their level.

For all students, I also include:

-Sight-reading practice

-Tone development and phrasing

.Musical interpretation and expression

For exam preparation (ABRSM / Trinity), I follow the official syllabus closely and provide structured guidance in all required components.
