Hello, thank you for viewing my profile. I am excited to assist you on your musical journey!



I am a professional music educator and performer, and for the last three years I have been teaching a diverse group of international students in Shanghai, China. Here, I teach band, orchestra, and choir, as well as a classroom music curriculum in collaboration with The Juilliard School. I also train students to do well on ABRSM, GCSE, and IB examinations. International students welcome!



Before Shanghai, I taught in Sacramento, California, and all across Colorado. I have professional experience in band, orchestra, choir, guitar, ukulele, music technology, piano, music listening, theory, and composition!



If it sounds like I do it all, that is because from a young age, I knew I would need to teach a variety of instruments in order to meet my students' needs. At an international school, there are so many different students with a wide variety of interests, skills, and ability levels. It's my mission to do help anyone and everyone I work with!



My specialty instruments are trombone, brass in general, and ukulele, with a focus on performance, theory, composition, and improvisation. If you want to begin or improve on an instrument, have fun, or even just learn more about music in general, I would be happy to help!
