Hello! I am here to help you learn the instrument of your dreams with ease and simplicity. I have a music degree in Mandolin Performance and orchestral composition from Belmont University and will be starting my Masters here soon. I have a heart for working with kids and encouraging beginner to advanced students. Nothing is more exciting than seeing a person grow in knowledge and confidence on their instrument. I do music full time, playing in bluegrass, Celtic, country and jazz bands here in Nashville, TN. If you are interested in Mandolin, Bouzouki, Tenor Banjo, Singing, or beginner guitar, then I would love to be your teacher.
Teaching Style
If you are a beginner, then I can't wait to show you the possibilities available to you on your instrument. If you are intermediate-advanced, then I am so excited to push you to a new level. My teaching style focuses on interest, if you are interested in Scottish music, then we will focus on that. I won't have you try gypsy jazz or get off topic. I'll provide relevant material to your interest, and provide support to you throughout the week if you need help.
Curriculum
Before we have our first lesson, I'll give you listening and (if necessary) pdf reading materials based on interest. However you best learn, is how I desire to teach you.

- Bachelor of Music- Belmont University- Mandolin Performance with an emphasis in Composition and Arranging.
- Active performing musician in Nashville (Bluegrass, Celtic, Country, Jazz)
- Been giving lessons for 8 years (I have taught ages 6-75)
