Matthew Shapiro

I have been playing music for most of my life and have experience with a wide variety of gear. I also have a proclivity for digging into manuals and learning the ins and outs of how electronic music devices work. I really like it! I've played several local venues with bands in Las Vegas, and my current focus has been making experimental electronic music with my Eurorack modular system.  

I have a B.S. in Psychology from the Univeristy of Oregon. 

I'd like to help you learn and deeply understand your gear! I am very comfortable navigating instruction manuals and being able to translate the often techy and extensive content into something more approachable.  I like to chat with my clients prior to their first lesson about the type of gear they plan on using and their experience so far using it. I also like to ask about goals and what they are hoping to get out of lessons.
