I am a classical pianist graduated with honors from Utrechts Conservatorium in the Netherlands with a minor in Pedagogy. I have a teaching experience of more than 10 years and wish to share my love for music and the piano with all kinds of students, proffesionals or not. At 13 years old I entered the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City, and at 20 I was accepted in the Netherlands where I finished my degree. I am very familiar with the ABSRM test and have prepared succesfully students up to the level 8.
I have performed in Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague and Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and in my home town, Mexico City. I have taught privately since the age of 20, and for two years I I taught at the DUMS Utrechte Muziekschool to children of all ages.
My teaching depends largely in the goals of the student, these being learning the piano as a hobby, wishing to enter a proffesional school, or presenting the ABSRM test. I cover an extense repertoire that can help each pupil´s progress. If it is for the ABSRM test I completely guide my lessons on the syllabus of the level we are presenting developing practical and theorical abilities. My lessons for all levels are centered in the relationship of mind and body. We cover technical exercises, develop a good posture, but center in music. Technique is important but is a tool to achieve music. I teach all levels and ages.
