Michael Digman

Hello! My name is Michael Digman, and I am currently a student at SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music looking for teaching experience. I am currently studying music education with a minor in Jazz Studies. My main instrument is trumpet, but I also am able to teach beginner guitar and trombone. My availability changes on a weekly basis, so feel free to ask what days and times I'm available.
I have been teaching the trumpet since 2018. Most of my students have been beginning trumpet players. However, I am qualified to teach guitar and trombone.
I graduated high school with an Advanced Regents Degree. I am also currently a student at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music. My career as a freelance musician mostly features several paid/volunteer musicals such as Mary Poppins, Cinderella, and Blood Brothers. In addition I did some volunteer work for my community around Christmas and Memorial Day. I am also an alumni of ESYO (Empire State Youth Orchestra).
I change my teaching style on a lesson to lesson basis. Each student learns differently and at a different pace. I will evaluate the student's abilities before I decide which route to take them on.
