About
I am highly experienced music educator, performer, and an advocate of music and arts. I was very fortunate to graduate from St. Petersburg State Conservatory with multiple degrees, like many members of my family. Upon moving to the US, I had started my studies with Julius Baker and completed my Artist Diploma at the University of Cincinnati, and in 1992 I had started my Doctoral program at the same college. My students are playing on major world stages: from Carnegie Hall to MusikVerein.
My teaching style is focused on the developing of the artistic individuality of the student. My goal is not to assist the student in developing the correct and appropriate unique style of their performance.
