About
In 2012 I started studying Oud at the Lebanese Higher Conservatory.
I have graduated from the Lebanese University with a Bachelor degree of Music Education. I received this degree with distinction and academic honors in 2015. In the same year I started my job as a music teacher at Antonine International School, and I got my Protect Ed certification. During this time I was the choir conductor and the leader of all the musical events.
In 2016 i completed the Oriental Music Education given by the Lebanses University and the Antonine University and I started giving private vocal, oud and piano lessons. Throughout my career I had performed as a soloist at various events. I have been a vocal teacher for the past 7 years. I am specialized in oriental singing, classical singing, oud and choir conducting. In 2021 i got a certification from Teacher Tech Summit.
In 2022 I had a new challenging job at Tahaddi, that consist of creating a choir of refugees childrens without any musical background and together we did many concerts. In 2023 I started conducting a choir at St Georges Church Amaret Chalhoub, which I perform as soloist as well.
I am a firm believer that the most important thing about taking lessons is having fun and enjoying what you do whilst learning in the process. My personal philosophy is that everyone can sing and create music and, in my years of teaching, I have not been proven wrong, specially while teaching people without any musical background to sing in choir.
My approach is to focus on vocal health, which involves proper breathing techniques, posture, tone production, tone projection, interpretation of the music, performance etiquette and music literacy. I aims for an all-round education so that students are able to read, write and interpret music. The most important aspect in my teaching is that the students, regardless of age, can enjoy what they do and to express themselves while they learn.
