This is how Katia Veekmans, a renowned Belgian pianist, describes the Portuguese pianist who started his studies in music only at the age of 18. Having completed his master's degree in piano in the Netherlands, he now lives in Portugal, where he receives important artistic impulses from the renowned pianist Maria João Pires. He regularly performs solo and in chamber music in Portugal, Spain, Holland, and Belgium, collaborates as a pianist in the music project in the community "Música100Idade" and is the founder of the online music teaching project "SoundBox MusicLab", together with conductor and teacher Inês Teixeira.
Master in Music Education (Piano pedagogy), Master in Performance, and teaching experience in private and official schools. I plan and personalize the classes according to the needs and aspirations of each student, using the methodologies that best adapt to each one. All students are welcome, regardless of the level of musical genre they play or want to learn to play. Learning a musical instrument has multiple benefits and, therefore, I try to provide a positive and motivating learning experience to all my students.

My methods and strategies are based on Dalcroze, E. Gordon, C. Azzara's theories which make my approach holistic and constructivist. I see the body and mind as one and I teach in a positive and healthy way.
