My name is Mikey LaSusa, I am a recording/touring musician based out of LA playing guitar and singing for Artists Remi Wolf, King Princess and Bea Miller. Graduating from USC Thornton class of 2020 with a degree in Guitar Performance, I have the tools to help you become a technically proficient guitarist. More excitingly, I have the experience as a professional musician to help you create stage and studio ready guitar tones, explore and create your own style of guitar playing, and share with you insights that I've learned as a freelance musician.
I believe each student should have their specific needs on the instrument met with appropriate guidance. Each student of mine is unique and therefore my lessons and approach to teaching them is individualized. Some students want to start playing guitar to sing and play their favorite songs, other students may be auditioning for music school or touring gigs. With my lessons, we will figure out your goals make a plan and make you a better guitar player!
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in music performance from University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music.
