Nadav Peled

Nadav Peled's diverse playing style has put him in high demand in two of the country's most prolific and competitive music scenes- LA and NYC. 

He has played with artists and groups that run a wide musical gamut such as- Ester Rada, The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Brian Charette, EthioCali, Hagar Ben Ari and Binky Griptite ( of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings) to name a few and has appeared in numerous prestigious stages and festivals across the U.S, Jamaica, Belgium, France, and Israel

As a leader, Nadav's project Anbessa Orchestra- dedicated to the music of Ethiopia and the combination of Ethiopian sounds with western elements has been acclaimed as an integral part of the New York Afro-Groove scene and has been featured in The Village Voice, Popmatters.com, KCRW, WNYC and NPR.

I always strive to get the student excited about the music. If it's a student who's just starting out on the instrument we'll tackle reading music on the guitar with familiar songs or ones that the student likes. If it's someone more advanced I always like to talk about what their goals are and try to expand their knowledge on the instrument in order to achieve those goals. 

To the best of the student's ability I always try to give a broad set of skills to each student which includes- reading music, learning scales and chords and some basic ear training.
