Formerly, a professor of collaborative piano at the Prague Conservatoire (2005- 2010) From 2011-2014, Mrs. Berlin undertook a double major in Solo and Collaborative Piano at The New School Mannes School of Music, New York NY with Prof. Pavlina Dokovska and Prof. Christina Stanescu. She currently works as an accompanist at Mannes College and the Kaufman Music Center.

My name is Natalie. I am an experienced teacher of classical piano from Brooklyn, New York. I have been teaching students privately for many years. It is always a pleasure for me to watch thm grow and develop as artists. In my view, the key to teaching is flexibility. With each student, I assess the baseline level of skills and then go on to develop those skills in each and every student.

I have taught piano for the past 20 years. I started with the Russian method, continuing with the European method, and now adding various American teaching methods, including Suzuki method.

Professional Diploma, Prague Conservatory
Bachelors and Masters Degree, The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague
Professional Studies Diploma, Double Major- Piano Performance and Collaborative Piano, Mannes School of Music, New York

During my lessons, I not only practice technique, but also teach students about composers, styles, music history, and of course music theory. I always try to make learning fun, instead of drilling. I believe that if you are passionate about your goals, you will achieve more than constant repetition.
