Nataliia Kukobnykova

Hello, I’m Nataliia, a professional cellist and experienced music educator from Ukraine. With over 15 years of teaching and performance experience, I bring a rich background in classical music to my online cello lessons.

I hold degrees from the Dnipro Musical College and the National Music Academy of Ukraine. I began my teaching journey as a cello instructor at a music school, where I helped young students develop their foundational skills from 2006 to 2009. I later taught string quartet at the National Music Academy, guiding students in ensemble playing and helping them master the art of chamber music.

In addition to teaching, I served as a section principal at the Kyiv Opera and Ballet Theatre from 2006 to 2011, where I refined my performance skills and worked with world-class musicians. My career then took me to the international stage as a string quartet leader on cruise ships with prestigious companies like Oceania Cruises and Princess Cruises.

I focus on creating a supportive and structured learning environment. My teaching style is tailored to each student’s unique goals and abilities, emphasizing technique, musicality, and confidence. I believe in building a strong foundation with clear guidance, allowing students to develop both technical skills and personal expression on the cello.
