About
Nathanial is a professional trombonist, composer, and arranger. He has played at many of the premier venues in the Greater Boston Area including: Scullers Jazz Club, Symphony Hall, and the Harvard Sanders Theatre. His 30 year performing career has included all levels of ensembles and performances from amateur theater to professional orchestra.
Currently Nathanial also teaches as a band instructor in a large urban school system, teaching all instruments: brass, woodwinds, and percussion.
Focus on fundamentals in any subject is crucial to the development of any music student. With that in mind I like to teach with a student centered style. Establishing a student goal at the beginning can help create a clear direction for both teacher and student to grow.
