Nicholas Antonelli
About
Nicholas Antonelli is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. He's spent 14 years learning guitar. During that time, he specialized in the genres of blues, jazz, metal, country, singer-songwriter, and rock. He attended Wayne State University where he studied jazz for 2 years, and then earned a degree from Berklee College of Music in songwriting and music in special education. Throughout his 14 years, Nicholas has been a part of many bands as a guitarist, bass player, and/or singer. He is currently writing solo singer-songwriter material, co-writing a progressive metal record, and offering his guitar work to other artists.
Teaching Style
Nicholas's teaching style is personable, personalised, and fun. He emphasises that music is a fun activity that can enhance people's lives, and wants his students to enjoy the music they learn.
Curriculum
Nicholas had the opportunity to study under incredible guitarists while taking lessons, and draws on each of their curriculums and styles to cultivate his own flexible method. He reccomends the Berklee Press Modern Method For Guitar books for those who want to learn how to read music, and encourages his students to bring in songs they like to learn techniques and concepts from.
