About
Hi! My name is Nick Wilbur and I'm a violist and violinist from Colorado. I have a BM in viola performance from the Eastman School of Music and have been playing music professionally since I was 16. I love teaching!
Teaching Style
I want to share my passion for classical music with my students. There is so much joy in understanding how music works - I don't just teach "here's how" but rather "here's how and here's why".
Curriculum
I work from the Suzuki books for beginning students, and choose repertoire based on the individual for intermediate to advanced students. Burton Kaplan's Practicing for Artistic Success is a must-read for any advanced students.
