Hello I am Nicolas Vazquez, I am a passionate music educator currently pursuing my "Licenciatura en Música Popular" at the National University of Cuyo, specializing in popular music, production, and performance. With 15 years of musical experience, I am proficient in guitar, piano, singing, composition, transcription, and production.
I have a strong background in both traditional instruments and pop music. I've tailored lessons, transcribed pop pieces, and taught in diverse settings, including private homes and online platforms.
I have original compositions that are still in process and I have performed as a guitarist and bass player in my band Avernhos in which we play Rock in Spanish, I've performed at many venues at bars, outdoor events, and music festivals
I have transcribed popular music, enabling students to explore their favorite songs accurately. I've also transcribed complex jazz compositions by Oscar Peterson

Education:
I started playing guitar 15 years with my brother, after that I went to a dedicate guitar teacher, then I started playing guitar at the church 14 years ago where I learn a lot about playing live but I left after 1 year. Currently I am enrolled in the "Licenciatura en Música Popular" program at the National University of Cuyo, here in Mendoza, Argentina where I am immersed in a comprehensive study of music theory, composition, and performance, with a focus on popular music genres.
Teaching Experience:
In my teaching journey, I have imparted knowledge not only in traditional instruments such as guitar and piano but also in the vibrant world of pop music. I have transcribed pop music pieces for my students, tailoring lessons to their musical preferences and fostering a deeper connection with the material. My teaching experiences range from private lessons conducted in students' homes and my studio to online platforms.
Productions and Performances:
While my original compositions are currently in production, I have actively contributed to the music industry as a member of the band Avernhos, I have performed at renowned venues such as Julio Le Parc, bars, outdoor events, and music festivals
Creative Work and Transcriptions:
Apart from composing and producing, I have engaged in transcribing popular music pieces, allowing students to explore and learn their favorite songs with accuracy and enthusiasm. I have also contributed to the preservation of musical heritage by transcribing complex compositions like Oscar Peterson's "Boogie Blues Etude."
