About

Currently pursuing her artistic aspirations at the esteemed Manhattan School of Music, Nicole, under the tutelage of the esteemed Mignon Dunn, is majoring in classical vocal performance while exploring the creative realms of contemporary composition. Her commitment to musical excellence extends beyond the spotlight, as she collaborates with local music producers and DJs, seamlessly fusing tradition with innovation.

Nicole's artistic achievements include being a soloist at the Moscow International House of Music and delivering memorable performances at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Moscow State Central Museum of Musical Culture named after Glinka. She also proudly participated in a choir that performed at the Winter Olympic Games Closing Ceremony in Sochi and the White Nights Festival at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg.

In 2015, Nicole embarked on a new chapter in the United States, earning her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance in 2023 and currently advancing her musical expertise in the Master's program at MSM. Within the school's supportive community, Nicole has emerged as a valued soloist, contributing to works such as Bach's "Magnificat," Mozart's "Missa Brevis in F - Benedictus," and the chorus of Verdi's "La Traviata." In the summer of 2023, Nicole displayed her artistry on the grand stage, presenting three meticulously staged and orchestrated roles at the Mediterranean Opera Festival in Caltagirone, Sicily. In these captivating performances, she portrayed Maddalena in Verdi’s “Rigoletto,” Ciesca in Puccini’s “Gianni Schicchi,” and Suor Infermiera in Puccini’s “Suor Angelica.” The same year, she embraced the role of a 'Witch' in MSM's compelling production of "Dido and Aenas" by Henry Purcell. Looking ahead to the spring of 2024, Nicole eagerly anticipates her upcoming role as the enchanting 'Fairy' in Jules Massenet's "Cendrillon," a prestigious MSM production. These diverse roles showcase Nicole's versatility and commitment to bringing stories to life through her evocative performances.

Beyond her personal accomplishments, Nicole's heart lies in teaching and sharing the joy of music. She passionately collaborates with local homeschools, providing invaluable musical training to middle schoolers who lack access to music classes. Additionally, Nicole brings her expertise to private teaching, enriching the lives of aspiring musicians with personalized instruction.

In the realm of contemporary music, Nicole, known as Nika Cole, actively engages in collaborations with local DJs, contributing to the vibrant music scene. Her dedication to fostering musical appreciation extends into the community, where she finds fulfillment in nurturing the next generation of artists.
