Hello!
I am excited to share and teach you how to play the piano. There is so much to learn and so many ways you can use piano for many musical activities, it is really such a wonderful instrument.
My background in playing is majority self-taught and through schooling at Point University, developed more skill and understanding in piano. I am a worship leader at church and love to share with others the joy of playing piano, and seeing them use their talents for the Lord and to serve their community.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is organic and simple, I listen to what the student needs, and adjust to how to explain things accordingly.
I teach music theory, which gives you the fundamentals or the basic ingredients of making music.
Curriculum
I don't have a certain method that I am going by, I want to share knowledge of music theory, understand where the student is in their current ability, know how the student wants to use their knowledge of piano and how to make it practical for them. So I may have some music books or materials they can get as needed, otherwise I'll create music materials for them for the use of their lesson.
