Nikita Tonkonogov
About
Hello! My name is Nikita Tonkonogov. I'm 32 and I'm a Russian born classical pianist. I have been leaving in Switzerland since 7 years. I have accomplished my studies in piano performance and pedagogy in the prestigious Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in the class of famous professor Mikhail Voskresensky and have finished my Master of Arts in Music Performance (Soloist Diploma) in the Bern University of Arts. I have been giving piano lessons since more than 10 years and at the same time have been developing my solo piano career playing concerts in Russia, Western Europe and the USA.
I will be very glad to be helpful and to share my rich knowledge and experience in piano playing whatever your level is - whether you are doing it professionally or as a hobby.
Teaching Style
As I said I have been giving piano lessons since more than ten years and I have experience in working with students of different age and level. I can be helpful if music is your hobby and you are playing for yourself. We can work together on technical issues and on your musicality. Also if you haven't played for years I can help you t refresh your skills. And if you are studying piano playing professionally, preparing a program for an exam, competition, concert etc. I will also be very happy to help. In this vase I will share with you all my professional knowledge I've gained in the last 20 years of performing on stage and in numerous Masterclass with great teachers I've attended all over the world.
In my pedagogical work I first of all listen to the needs and abilities of a student. My absolute priority is that music making should bring joy to the student. I combine the traditions and secrets of the famous Russian piano school with the knowledges I received during my studies in Western Europe.
