About
I have played the violin for over 15 years and have been teaching for 7 years now. I have taught students from 5 to 20 years old. I have a Bachelor's degree in Violin performance and currently on getting my Master's degree in Performance as well. I have played in orchestras and chamber ensembles for over 10 years and I am currently the concertmaster in my School's orchestra. I love teaching and seeing my students grow and accomplish their goals.
I believe that Music is a great tool for expressing yourself and I want to share that with my students
Teaching Style
It is my goal to give my students the tools and skills they need to not only be able to play the violin but to enjoy playing. I like to encourage and challenge my students and work with them to set goals that adapt to each particular student, and give them practice strategies to overcome the technical difficulties they will encounter. All of my students learn scales, learn scales, note-reading, rhythm, ear training, and tone production.
Curriculum
I use several different curricula depending on the student's level.
