Balakumar Paramalingam, is now appreciated both in the field of percussion and world music. A virtuoso of the highest level, his always brilliant and exciting performances have established him as one of the leading artists in Europe and also in his own country.
His playing is marked by a fantastic intuition and improvisation, and his remarkable dexterity is based on an unparalleled knowledge and a study of different percussion instruments.
A virtuoso in the art of konnakol (percussive rhythmic language of Indian music). He masters perfectly the art of playing Kanjira and Morsing.

20 years experience of teaching , I learnt in a traditional way (GURUKULAM means in my guru's home) and i adapt my teaching for each student because each one is different , and teach with passion and try to give my best and get the best from my all students !!!
