Based in Royal Leamington Spa in the centre of the UK I've been playing guitar since 1985, gigging since 1988 and teaching since 1997.  Including my regular gig since 1994 with the Sam Powell Blues Band (formerly the Hangover Blues Band) I've played over 1,500 gigs travelling as far out as the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.

Sick of lessons that only show you *what* to play and leave you struggling to get there?  I specialise in getting frustrated guitarists of *all* levels to be able to *do* it!  With 24+ years teaching experience I can guarantee progress every lesson  using easy to follow, step-by-step  instructions.  Good guitar practice is doing the things we can't yet in a way that we *can* and breaking your problems down into bite-sized, easily mastered pieces will keep you moving forward every time you pick up your guitar!
