Hi! I'm Pierre, and I've been teaching private guitar, drum and ukulele lessons for over 20 years.
I've published beginner music methods for all three instruments, and have a growing YouTube channel with ukulele and guitar tutorials.
I LOVE to teach, and am confident I can help you reach your musical goals, and have FUN along the way.

I've helped hundreds of students strum and sing their favorite songs or rock out on the drums.
For those seeking a more formal education, I can also offer a strong foundation in classical guitar as well as rudimental and jazz drumming.
I have a BFA in Jazz Drum Set Performance from Concordia University, and have studied classical guitar at the University of Ottawa.
I've been teaching private lessons for over 20 years, have taught group classes in elementary schools (Hebrew Academy and Collège Stanislas). I've worked extensively as a professional musician in Montreal, ranging from Pop projects like Ainsley McNeaney to Jazz gigs at the Mayfair, Upstairs Jazz Bar, Biddles Jazz Club and the Montreal Jazz Festival.
I've also self-published 6 music books for ukulele, guitar and drums.
I teach a specific progression of scales, chords, rhythms and exercises and often work with music books, including my own.
However, I also love to focus on the songs, bands and styles that my students want to learn as soon as possible!
I use the Hal Leonard methods and Easy Guitar for younger guitar students;
Easy Ukulele and Ukulele for Beginners and Beyond for ukulele students;
And the Fun Drum Book for Kids for beginner drum students.
I use other methods from classical to jazz for more advanced students.
