About

Hello, I am a violinist who graduated from the Juilliard school. Not only holding a degree at the Juilliard School, I was also invited to perform in many places. Including interview and performance for Taiwan's national radio station and performed for Queen Mathilde of Belgium during the prestige violin competition, Queen Elisabeth Competition. I believed that not matter you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player, I will be able to help you with my knowledge, teaching experience, and performing experience because violin is a performing art and I believe that a teacher can only teaches well if himself/herself plays very well, so that the teacher will be able to solve any problem or question from the student.

Teaching Style

If you are a beginner:

I will help you to set up your right hand and left hand correctly so that even you are just learning for fun, you have the ability to play pieces you want. I think that beginner is also the easiest period to give up because all the exercises to help set up right hand and left hand are very boring, but I will add some easy pieces to help the process less painfully and more enjoyable!!

If you already know how to play violin:

I will ask you to play what ever piece you feel comfortable and evaluate what's your strength and what's your weakness and have a personal plan for you to keep improving to the next level!

Most importantly, I don't only teach you violin, but sometime during lesson, we will chat a bit, because I want to understand you as a person more and become friend with you, so that I know how to help you improve quickly!!

Let's meet at the lesson and go to the next level together!!

Curriculum

I use Suzuki book to teach beginners with some easy pieces accordingly.

For students who already knows how to play, I will ask them to play for me first and analyze their strength and weakness and help them from there with exercises or repertoire.
