Dr. Priyeshni Peiris Perera, is Sri Lanka’s first and only person to hold a doctorate in Musical Arts –Piano Pedagogy from Texas Tech University (U.S.A.) and the Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music (F.R.S.M. - UK) in Piano performance. She is a versatile concert pianist, specializing in Classical piano as well as Popular Piano and fusions. She also has experience teaching Music Theory, Composition, Music Appreciation classes for beginners to collegiate levels. She has concertized and taught in global contexts & looks forward to sharing her expertise & making music fun for students from all over the World.

I come from a generation of Music/Piano teachers & I have taught piano for children to Adults in Asia as well as in North America. My students have won several accolades in Royal Conservatory exams and other UK-Based Music Curriculums, which are globally accepted methods. I have also taught lessons for just Fun & also conducted "'Music Camps'' for children in USA & Sri Lanka.

I have coached students for Music Festivals in UK & have been named as the teacher with the ''Highest number of Gold Medals" in the Music Festivals of the British Federation for 4 consecutive years.
