About
I am a passionate Mathematics and Problem-Solving Instructor with 6 years of experience with a strong background in competitive mathematics, logical reasoning, and computer science. I completed my B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science from the University of Delhi and have completed my MCA from MNNIT Allahabad in 2025. I have also achieved AIR 187 in NIMCET and consistently scored 96/100 in Mathematics during both Grade 10 and Grade 12.
I specialize in teaching:
• AMC 8 / AMC 10 preparation
• Olympiad Mathematics
• Algebra, Number Theory, Geometry, and Combinatorics
• Logical Thinking and Problem Solving
• SAT Math and foundational competitive mathematics
My teaching philosophy focuses on building deep conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization. I believe students learn best when they understand the “why” behind every method and develop the confidence to solve unfamiliar problems independently.
I also have extensive experience in Competitive Programming and have solved 1000+ problems across platforms such as Codeforces, LeetCode, and GeeksforGeeks. This background helps me train students in analytical thinking, pattern recognition, and elegant problem-solving techniques.
In my classes, students can expect:
• Structured and engaging lessons
• Step-by-step explanations
• Interactive problem-solving sessions
• Personalized guidance based on their level
• Regular practice problems and discussion of multiple approaches
My goal is not only to help students perform well in exams and competitions, but also to develop a genuine interest and confidence in mathematics.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is highly interactive, student-focused, and concept-oriented. I believe mathematics becomes enjoyable when students understand the logic behind every idea instead of memorizing formulas mechanically.
I encourage students to:
• Think independently and explore multiple approaches
• Develop strong analytical and logical reasoning skills
• Ask questions freely during class
• Build confidence through guided problem solving
In my sessions, I focus on:
• Breaking complex problems into smaller understandable steps
• Teaching patterns, tricks, and elegant methods used in Olympiads
• Strengthening conceptual foundations before moving to advanced problems
• Encouraging mathematical intuition and creativity
I maintain a friendly and motivating classroom environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. My goal is to help students become confident problem solvers who can approach unfamiliar questions with clarity and confidence.
Curriculum
My teaching method combines conceptual learning, guided practice, and regular problem-solving discussions. Each lesson is designed to gradually build understanding from fundamentals to advanced applications.
A typical session includes:
• Concept explanation with examples
• Step-by-step problem solving
• Discussion of multiple approaches and shortcuts
• Practice exercises based on difficulty levels
• Homework and review discussions
For Olympiad and competitive mathematics, I emphasize:
• Pattern recognition
• Logical thinking
• Creative problem solving
• Time-efficient strategies
• Deep understanding of core concepts
Recommended resources may include:
• Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) series
• AMC 8 / AMC 10 problem sets
• MathCounts resources
• Past Olympiad questions
• Customized worksheets and notes prepared during class
I also adapt my teaching approach according to the student’s age, goals, and current skill level to ensure effective learning and steady improvement.
